Point of Disappearance / Circumstances

Six year old Adam Walsh was last seen at the Sears Mall located at S Park Road in Hollywood, Florida on July 27, 1981 at 12:15 PM. His mom went to price a lamp while Adam played at an Atari 2600 Video Game kiosk display.

Point of Remains Recovery

On August 10, 1981 Adams' skull was discovered by fishermen in a drainage canal alongside the Florida Turnpike in Vero Beach, Florida. Toole had confessed to stopping with Adam Walsh just north of the Radebaugh Road overpass of the Florida Turnpike.

In December of 2008 Law Enforcement closed the case satisfied that Ottis Elwood Toole (born March 5th, 1947 in Jacksonville, Florida - Died 9/15/96 in Raiford, Florida) was responsible for Adam's murder.

On April 4, 2006 Adre'anna's remains were recovered from an over grown vacant lot across the street from Woodbrook Middle School on 146th Street SW and Spring Street SW in Lakewood.

Five year old Alayna Ertl was taken out of her bed by a friend of her father's on August 20, 2016 at 4:00 AM from their home on 221 Meeker Avenue in Watkins, Minnesota. Zachard Todd Anderson took Alayna and her fathers' vehicle after her father had fallen asleep.

The next day on August 21, 2016 Alayna's remains were recovered NW in a marshy wooded area on private property belonging to Anderson's family located at 4926 Iroquois Loop Trail in Motley, Minnesota.

Five year old Alie Barrlez was last seen playing outside her home with her brothers and eating pizza at the Golden Nugget Apartments on 200 W. Grand Avenue in Englewood, Colorado on May 18, 1993. The police were called at 7:02 PM when her brother said that a 'old man' had taken his sister.

3 days later, Yogi, a search dog, led police on a 14 mile SW hike that included entrance onto the 470 Freeway. Due to exhaustion, Yogi's handler stopped Yogi 2 miles short of Alie's remains where she was finally found in a green duffle bag in a wooded area of Deer Creek Canyon off of W. Deer Creek Canyon Road.

On January 29, 2017 Alianna's remains were recovered SE from a abandoned home by police located at 9412 Fuller Avenue in Cleveland. News reports she had been beaten and stabbed to death.

17 year old Shipman High School student Alexis Murphy was last seen in Surveillance footage on August 3, 2013 at 7:15 PM at the Liberty Gas Station located at 44 Collohill Drive in Lovingston, Virginia while traveling to Lynchburg to go shopping.
Her car was found north of Charlottesville off U.S. 29 at a Carmike movie lot.
Her hair extensions and lashes and DNA was found in Taylor's trailer who was also seen on the surveillance footage.

Remains Recovered on December 3, 2020 by Law enforcement from off a wooded area on private property in Lovingston located on StageBridge Road and running near parallel to Route 29 and identified as Alexis on February 5, 2021.

On September 22, 1984 Amanda's remains were recovered NE from a shallow canal off Glades Road and Lyons Road east of Rt. 441. She had been strangled with a wire.

4 days later, on January 17, 1996, her remains were discovered NE by an apartment security guard in a storm drainage ditch behind an apartment complex in near Forest Hallow Lane and Forestwood Drive in North Arlington. Her throat had been cut. Amber's death inspired the AMBER ALERT which stands for AMERICA'S MISSING: Broadcast Emergency Response created by Dallas-Fort Worth area law enforcement and media representative in 1996.

On February 8, 1990 her remains were recovered SW in a field close to the road off County Road 1181 in Ruggles Township of Ashland County. Her blood was found in her underwear and believed to indicate she may of been sexually abused. Personal items were missing: her horse riding boots, her denim backpack, a binder with the words "Buick, Best in Class", and turquoise earrings in the shape of horse heads.

On April 24th, his remains were recovered wrapped in plastic from a shallow grave off a farm access road west of Dean Street and just north of Gayle Avenue in Dorr Township (an area southwest of Woodstock).

Forensic video evidence from a parents cell phone served to crack the case. Little AJ's father made a statement that he was put to bed "...cold, wet, and naked.." on the night of April 15th---and later found dead. He stored him in the basement in a tote before his father disposed of him on the night of April 17th. Both parents are being charged with concealment of a homicide.

She was intending on picking up an umbrella she had left at her friends house. Someone reported seeing a young girl fitting April's description being pulled into a truck by a man in his 30's.

Three days later, on April 4th, April's remains were discovered by a jogger NE of her home in a ditch off of KeKalb Country Road 68, between Country Roads 47 and 51 West of Spencerville. Autopsy reports she had been suffocated and raped.

On June 30, 2017, after a two month search, Aramazd's remains were recovered by Law Enforcement NW some 105 miles away in a wilderness area about 1 to 2 miles beyond Lake Cachuma, California. He was smothered with a jacket that was in the in the father's vehicle. Investigation reports the murder had been planned months in advanced. The intention was to kill his son and himself and point the finger to his ex-wife.

On May 3, 2016 Ashlynn's remains were recovered SW in a remote area near the Shiprock Pinnalce located in Navajo Nation near the Indian Service Rte 13 off 491. A motorist found Ian Mike walking along the Navajo Route 13 adn took him to the Shiprock Police Station. When police found Ashlynn she had been sexually molested and bludgeoned to death with a tire iron.

16 months later, on March 22, 1979 a Monroeville resident walking his dog stumbled upon her 'hastily piled grave' and her partially exposed sheleton SE from her home in a wooded area off Johnston Road in Monroeville across from the duck pond at the Restland Memorial Cemetary. She was found with the clothes she had worn to school that day. Autopsy reveals she had been stabbed several time in the chest, but no way to tell if she had been sexually assaulted.
